Alnowair organization is joining forces with the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) to support the #KindnessMatters global campaign to collect 1 million stories of kindness in support of the creation of a new UNESCO International Day of Kindness at the UNESCO General Conference in November 2021.

Kindness is not defined by lofty stories; it exists all around us and needs to be celebrated at every moment of life because #KindnessMatters every day. We’re celebrating K3: kindness for self, others and nature, and invite you to share with us a simple act of kindness that you performed today – gave yourself some rest from daily routine, watered the plants, donated some blankets for a cause, or called your family. This exercise will take less than 30 seconds and will make you a part of our global kindness community. So, won’t you help us make the world a kinder place?

اللطف ليس مقتصر على القصص الجميلة التي يرويها أصحابها. اللطف موجود معنا في كل مكان، وعلينا تقدير هذه المشاعر وتعزيزها في كل لحظة لأن #اللطف_مهم كل يوم. نحن نحتفل اليوم باللطف في أشكاله الثلاثة: اللطف مع الذات، ومع الآخرين، ومع الطبيعة. يسعدنا أن تشاركنا عملاً لطيفًا قمت به اليوم كأن توقفت قليلا عن عملك المعتاد وأخذت قسطًا من الراحة، أو شاركت بريّ المزروعات، أو تبرعت ببعض البطانيات للمحتاجين، أو تواصلت مع أسرتك. هذا الأمر الذي قد يستغرق أقل من 30 ثانية سيجعلك جزءًا من مجتمع اللطف العالمي. هل ستساهم لنجعل العالم معًا مكانًا أكثر لطفًا؟

Join Alnowair and UNESCO MGIEP’s global youth campaign titled ‘Kindness Matters for the SDGs’, the purpose of which is to mobilize the world’s youth to achieve the 17 SDGs through transformative acts of kindness. The campaign also attempts to create a positive culture of kindness, in which every young person’s selfless act matters!

Advisor to the #KindnessMatters Global Campaign

One of the greatest gifts we can give each other is the gift of compassion and empathy. Today, more than ever if there is something this world needs, it is “kindness”. When the world was ravaged by the pandemic, it was the stories of kindness that gave us hope, these little acts that we did for each other that made us believe. The beauty of kindness is that it not only lifts the spirits of the people who receive or give kindness, but it also equally pleases the people who witness these acts of kindness. It is one of my most favorite scientific fact!

I am truly humbled and grateful to be a part of #kindnessmatters – a campaign to create a positive culture of kindness through stories of kindness, highlighting that every selfless act matters. It is my great honor to represent the Arab Worlds support to this campaign.

#kindnessmatters is about sharing little stories of compassion, empathy, and love with the world, so that these little tales might inspire others and forward the chain of kindness. There are three distinct ways in which kindness manifests itself, one is being kind to others, another is being kind to our nature and the third which I feel is equally important is being kind to yourself. So, if you have a story of kindness (however simple) to share, whether it is of someone you know or about yourself, share it with the world. Because now is the time when the world needs to hear stories of kindness. Today, every small act of positivity, every deed of humanity matters. Today, more than it has ever #kindnessmatters.

مستشار الحملة العالمية #اللطف_مهم

من أعظم الهدايا التي يمكن أن نقدمها لبعضنا البعض اللطف والتعاطف، خاصة في أيامنا هذه. إذا كان هناك شيء يحتاجه هذا العالم، فهو “اللطف”. عندما اجتاح الوباء العالم، كانت قصص اللطف هي التي تمنحنا الأمل. تلك الأعمال الصغيرة التي قمنا بها من أجل بعضنا البعض هي التي جعلتنا نتمسك بإيماننا. يكمن جمال اللطف في أنه لا يرفع معنويات الأشخاص الذين يتلقون أو يقدمون اللطف فحسب، بل يأسر أيضاً قلوب من يشهدون هذه الأعمال اللطيفة. إنها واحدة من أكثر الحقائق العلمية المفضلة لدي.

إنني حقاً أشعر بالفخر والامتنان لكوني جزءاً من حملة # اللطف_مهم التي هدفها خلق ثقافة اللطف الإيجابية من خلال قصص عن اللطف، وكذلك إبراز أن كل عمل غير أناني مهم. إنه لشرف عظيم لي أن أمثل دعم العالم العربي لهذه الحملة.

تدور حملة # اللطف_مهم حول مشاركة قصص قصيرة عن اللطف والتعاطف والحب مع العالم، بحيث تلهم هذه الحكايات الصغيرة الآخرين، وبذلك تستمر دائرة اللطف.
هناك ثلاثة أوجه مميزة يظهر فيها اللطف، وهي أن تكون لطيفاً مع الآخرين، ولطيفاً مع الطبيعة، والجانب الثالث الذي أشعر أنه يحمل القدر نفسه من الأهمية، هو أن تكون لطيفاً مع نفسك. فإذا كانت لديك قصة جميلة تحمل معاني اللطف (مهما كانت بسيطة)، سواء كانت قصة تخص شخصًا تعرفه أو عن نفسك، من الجميل أن تشاركها مع العالم؛ لأن العالم الآن أحوج ما يكون لسماع قصص عن اللطف. إننا في زمن سيكون فيه لكل عمل إيجابي صغير صدى، وكل عمل إنساني مهم.. الآن أكثر من أي وقت مضى #اللطف_مهم
